Agenda or outcome: Discuss the types of situations encountered (e.g. user errors, software bugs, migration/implementation issues) and how they can best be supported.
This session, the first of two on the support process for FOLIO testing and implementation partners, outlines the initial triage of software issues that will be handled by the implementing or testing partners and, where applicable, support institutions. This includes the process by which vendors are supporting their implementation partners, how self-hosting institutions are supporting their own implementations, and how questions, problems, and lessons that come up during implementation are filtered back into the general FOLIO Community.
This session will be continued in Part II, this afternoon, which consists of a panel of dev and support folks who will
- Review the process for reporting software bugs
- Discuss the service level agreement
Proposed moderator: Kelly Drake/Holly Mistlebauer (rotate)
Primary audience: Staff of implemented and implementing sites, plus the people who support them
